As the cold months approach, we're collecting items for children in the West Des Moines school district.

Donations

Donations can be delivered to the Valley Community Center during regular business hours or to Valley Church during Sunday worship services.

July & August A backpack filled with school supplies

Donate any New and Unused Backpack to needy children in our community! Children and Teen styles accepted.

How to donate

November & December A Christmas stocking filled with wrapped gifts

Donate non-perishable food items, and fill a shoebox with gifts for a child.

January & February A happy dog

Donate pet food, litter, treats, canned tuna, peanut butter, towels and blankets.

How to donate

Give time too

Sorting and packing donations, hosting in the café, helping at events. Hours vary and are flexible.
