As one of the most versatile community venues in the region, the Valley Community Center sets the stage for events of every scale. Small and casual? Large and lively? Whatever you’re planning, we have a space that fits.
The basics
Room for almost anything, two blocks from the interstate
This expansive 52,000-square-foot facility sits on a sprawling 35-acre campus allowing us to accommodate a number of activities and programs for people of all ages. With 500 parking spots on site plus 400 additional across the street, catering prep spaces, just two blocks from I-35 (Exit 70), this is an ideal and versatile space for a variety of events.

The outdoor campus
Thirty-five acres of playground, pavilion, farm and rink
The building is only part of it. Most of what happens here happens outside.
Eric’s Place Inclusive Playground
The Valley Community Center Inclusive Playground, “Eric's Place” was designed with children of all ages and abilities in mind. It offers a swing and merry-go-round that children in a wheelchair can enjoy to the fullest. The play equipment has a double wide ramp, which allows room for children to run and play, and several types of slides.
The Valley Pavilion
The Valley Pavilion is a 2100+ square foot covered gathering space with 14 picnic tables conveniently located next to Eric’s Place, our inclusive playground. It provides a perfect spot for spontaneous conversations and growing relationships with friends both old and new.
Global Greens Farm
Global Greens Farm is a 6.5 acre training farm for refugees who were formerly farmers. Through this partnership with LSI, hundreds of refugees have gained access to land, learned about U.S. agriculture, and started their own businesses.
Cyclocross Course
The challenging 2+ mile cyclocross course is a fun place to bike or to enjoy a unique walking experience.
The Valley Ice Plaza
The Valley Ice Plaza is a 50-by-100-foot ice skating rink on the northeast side of the building. We offer free skate rental and free hot chocolate throughout the season. We welcome thousands of ice skaters, hockey players, and broom ball players throughout the winter.
