We’re supporting at-risk children in low income housing in West Des Moines.

Donate any New and Unused Backpack to needy children in our community! Children and Teen styles accepted.

We partner with several organizations and low income apartments in the WDM area to distribute backpacks to children in need.

Donations

Donations can be delivered to the Valley Community Center during regular business hours or to Valley Church during Sunday worship services.

November & December A Christmas stocking filled with wrapped gifts

Donate non-perishable food items, and fill a shoebox with gifts for a child.

Donate pet food, litter, treats, canned tuna, peanut butter, towels and blankets.

Give time too

Sorting and packing donations, hosting in the café, helping at events. Hours vary and are flexible.
